3. REFUND ELIGIBILITY
3.1 Time Period for Refund Requests
Customers may request a refund within 7 to 10 business days from the date of payment, subject to the conditions outlined in this Policy.
3.2 Eligible Refund Scenarios
Refunds may be granted in the following circumstances:
• Service Not Delivered: If the purchased service or feature was not activated or made available despite successful payment.
• Technical Issues: If critical technical issues prevent the customer from using the service, and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe.
• Duplicate Payment: If the customer was charged multiple times for the same service due to a technical error.
• Service Misrepresentation: If the service provided materially differs from what was advertised or agreed upon in the service agreement.
• Cancellation Within Trial Period: If applicable, cancellations made during any advertised trial or money-back guarantee period.
3.3 Non-Eligible Scenarios
Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:
• Change of mind after the service has been activated and used
• Failure to use the service during the subscription period
• Requests made after the 7-10 day refund window
• Violations of our Terms of Service or acceptable use policy
• Services that have been substantially used (e.g., significant QR code scans, substantial data generated)
• Requests based on lack of technical knowledge or training (we provide support for such issues)
• Downtime due to scheduled maintenance (with prior notice)
4. PARTIAL REFUNDS
In certain circumstances, partial refunds may be granted at our sole discretion:
• Pro-rata Refunds: For annual or long-term subscriptions, if a critical service failure occurs, we may provide a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of the service period.
• Feature-Specific Refunds: If a specific add-on feature fails to work as advertised, a refund for that specific feature may be provided while maintaining the core subscription.
5. REFUND REQUEST PROCESS
5.1 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, customers must:

2. Include the following information:
• Business/Company name
• Registered email address with Palyt
• Transaction ID or Invoice number
• Date of payment
• Reason for refund request
• Supporting documentation (if applicable)
3. Submit the request within the eligible refund period (7-10 business days from payment date)
5.2 Review Process
• Upon receiving a refund request, we will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days
• Our team will review the request and may contact you for additional information
• We will investigate the claim and verify eligibility as per this Policy
• You will receive a decision on your refund request within 5-7 business days from the date of submission
5.3 Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved:
• The refund will be processed within 7-10 business days from the date of approval
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction
• Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-7 business days for the refund to reflect in your account
• You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed
6. REFUND METHODS
Refunds will be issued through the following methods:
• Original Payment Method: Refunds will be credited back to the original payment source (credit card, debit card, UPI, net banking, etc.)
• Bank Transfer: In cases where the original payment method is no longer available, refunds may be processed via direct bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS). Additional bank details will be requested.
• Payment Gateway Credits: For payments made through our payment gateway, refunds will be processed through the same gateway
7. SERVICE CREDITS AS ALTERNATIVE
In lieu of a monetary refund, we may offer:
• Service Credits: Extended subscription period or credits toward future services
• Feature Upgrades: Complimentary access to premium features
• Technical Support: Dedicated support to resolve issues
Customers may choose to accept service credits or request a monetary refund.
8. CANCELLATION POLICY
8.1 Subscription Cancellation
• Customers may cancel their subscription at any time through their account dashboard or by contacting support
• Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle
• No refunds will be provided for the remaining period of the current billing cycle unless eligible under Section 3.2
8.2 Immediate Cancellation

9.1 Chargeback Policy

• Unauthorized chargebacks may result in immediate suspension of service
• Chargeback fees imposed by payment processors may be charged to the customer if the chargeback is found to be unjustified

• All disputes will be handled as per the dispute resolution clause in our Terms of Service
• We are committed to resolving disputes amicably and in good faith
